BJP National President Nitin Nabin has accused the opposition of misleading the public regarding the SIR, stating that every decision was taken unanimously by the Election Commission.
BJP National President Nitin Nabin has criticized the opposition for allegedly misleading the public on the Synchronised Polling (SIR) system. In a social media post, Mr. Nabin stated that the Election Commission has made it clear that every decision relating to the SIR was taken unanimously by the full Commission.
Mr. Nabin further criticized the Congress for building its allegations around a manufactured lie and attacking constitutional bodies. He pointed out that when the same electoral process delivers victories to Congress and its allies, including in states like Kerala and Tamil Nadu, their credibility is readily accepted.
Mr. Nabin emphasized that democracy cannot be respected selectively. He also expressed his dismay over the resorting to malicious propaganda to discredit respected constitutional institutions.
