Four individuals have been arrested by the Delhi Police for their alleged role in providing weapons used to attack actor Tiger Shroff in Mumbai. The suspects were reportedly connected to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
The Delhi Police arrested four individuals on Tuesday for allegedly supplying the weapons used in the assassination attempt against actor Tiger Shroff, according to The Indian Express. On Sunday, Shroff escaped an attack in Mumbai, where two persons, including his driver, were injured. Anil Pandit, a suspected member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, claimed responsibility for the attack through a purported audio clip shared online, stating that Shroff was on their target list due to not following their directives and working with actor Salman Khan. Bishnoi, currently in jail in Gujarat, has repeatedly threatened to kill Khan. The Rajasthan Police had arrested three individuals from Kota in connection with the firing incident. Among those arrested in Delhi, Radha and Babita were detained at the New Delhi Railway Station, while Kunal and Sumit were held in Sonipat, Haryana. Kunal, who was recently released on bail, allegedly collected a pistol and ammunition from Amritsar on Pandit's instructions. Two months ago, Kunal convinced Radha to travel to Mumbai with the weapon. On October 15, Radha and Babita left Delhi for Mumbai with the pistol in their luggage. Upon reaching Mumbai, they checked into a hotel, and at about 11 am, a minor boy allegedly collected the bag from Radha. The Maharashtra Police's Crime Investigation Department has requested permission to interrogate the four suspects held in Delhi.
