Minister of State Jitendra Singh launches nation-wide Digital Life Certificate Campaign 5.0 to ease living for senior citizens and reduce their hassle in submitting life certificates.
Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Jitendra Singh launched the Nation-wide Digital Life Certificate Campaign 5.0 in New Delhi today. The campaign aims to ensure ease of living for senior citizens by reducing the hassle of visiting banks and government offices to submit life certificates.
Dr. Singh emphasized that every citizen, including senior citizens, plays an important role in nation-building under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Viksit Bharat. He stressed the need to ensure the health, financial security, and well-being of senior citizens so they can continue contributing to society.
The initiative also includes pension reforms such as Pension Adalats and the removal of outdated rules to make pension services simpler and more accessible.
