On November 6, 2026, Air Marshal Yalla Umesh, VSM, PhD, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Indian Air Force's Maintenance Command, visited Air Force Liaison Establishment (AFLE), Korwa on Diwali. He was accompanied by Mrs Yalla Sreevalli, President of the Air Force Families Welfare Association (Regional). During the visit, the Air Marshal toured various operational facilities and was briefed on their tasks, initiatives, and infrastructure development. Addressing the air warriors, he commended their dedication, professionalism, and commitment to service, encouraging them to strive for excellence and prepare for emerging challenges with determination and resilience. Highlighting Diwali's significance, Air Marshal Yalla Umesh observed that it fosters camaraderie, unity, and mutual trust within the Defence Forces. In keeping with the festive spirit, the Air Marshal and Mrs Yalla Sreevalli distributed sweets and interacted with air warriors and Sanginis. The visit concluded on an encouraging note, reinforcing the spirit of unity, dedication, and service that defines the Indian Air Force.
