
The pilgrimage to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi has resumed after a six-day suspension due to adverse weather conditions, with authorities continuing to monitor the situation closely.
The Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Yatra recommenced today in Jammu and Kashmir, following a six-day halt due to unfavorable weather conditions and safety concerns caused by heavy rainfall in the region. Akashvani Jammu’s correspondent reports that the suspension was lifted after authorities reassessed the weather situation and deemed the path safe for pilgrims.
Pilgrims have been advised to adhere to safety advisories, follow directions from the Shrine Board and security agencies, and stay updated on weather conditions during their journey. The Meteorological Department has forecast another spell of rain and thundershowers at many places from July 28 onwards.
The resumption of the pilgrimage allows devotees to resume their journey to the holy shrine, with authorities continuing to monitor the weather conditions closely to ensure safety.
