The Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill, 2026 will be presented by Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh in the Lok Sabha on Monday. The bill aims to amend the existing Act from 2024 and establishes provisions for fast-track courts.

The Government is set to introduce the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill, 2026 in the Lok Sabha on Monday. This action follows the Union Cabinet's approval of a draft bill aimed at establishing fast-track courts and imposing stricter penalties for paper leaks and exam malpractices on Friday. The bill, listed in the business of the House for Monday, will be presented by Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh.

The Bill seeks to amend the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024. Its introduction is intended to enhance the prevention and penalties for unfair means in public examinations, ensuring a fair and transparent evaluation process.
