Pralhad Joshi assumes control of Ministry of Education and holds additional charges for three other ministries; reviews implementation of schemes.
Union Minister Shri Pralhad Joshi officially assumed charge of the Ministry of Education at Kartavya Bhavan today. Besides his new role, he also holds charges of the Union Ministries of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, and New and Renewable Energy.
In a review meeting chaired by Shri Joshi, the implementation of various schemes and initiatives under the Ministry was assessed. The meeting was attended by Union Minister of State for Education Shri Jayant Chaudhary.
Secretaries from the Department of Higher Education and the Department of School Education and Literacy, along with senior officers from the Ministry were present during this review session.
