Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav addressing a Guru Purnima programme in Mandsaur

Dr. Mohan Yadav praises the greatness of Gurus in Indian culture, emphasizes their role in character building, highlights Sandipani Ashram and schools, appreciates cow conservation initiative, announces Shravan procession for Lord Shiva.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav addressed a Guru Purnima programme organised in Mandsaur through video conferencing from Ujjain. He emphasized the greatness of the Guru in Indian culture, stating that society will always remain indebted to its spiritual leaders.

The Chief Minister highlighted the significance of the Sandipani Ashram in Ujjain and mentioned that Sandipani Schools being established across Madhya Pradesh have emerged among the country's finest educational institutions. He added that students from private schools are also seeking admission to Sandipani Schools. The Chief Minister informed that the State Government is establishing Sandipani Schools across Madhya Pradesh with a provision of ₹25,000 crore.

Dr Yadav also appreciated the cow conservation initiative undertaken by Guru Pandit Shri Bhimashankar Shastri and congratulated him on his commitment to the cause. He announced that during the holy month of Shravan, a traditional procession of Lord Shiva would be organised with a Police Band accompanying the procession. The Chief Minister extended his greetings and best wishes to everyone on the occasion of Guru Purnima.

The programme was attended by various dignitaries including MLA Shri Vipin Jain, District Panchayat President Smt. Durga Vijay Patidar, former MLA Shri Yashpal Singh Sisodia, former Minister Shri Narendra Nahata, Municipal Council Chairperson Smt. Ramadevi Banshilal Gurjar, District Planning Committee Member Shri Rajesh Dixit, Shri Mahendra Gurjar, Collector Shri Divyang Singh, Superintendent of Police Shri Vinod Kumar Meena, Additional Collector Smt. Ekta Jaiswal, along with devotees and disciples.
