Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announces plans to promote stalled officers and initiate fresh recruitment for over 17,000 posts across various departments, with a focus on improving government operations and ensuring benefits of public welfare schemes reach all sections.
During a felicitation ceremony at the FDDI Auditorium in Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced that the state government is taking steps to address long-standing issues in the promotion of government employees who have been waiting for promotions for years. The government aims to complete all necessary processes for promotions by September-October this year.
In addition, the state government has initiated fresh recruitment on over 17,000 posts across various departments. Over 18,000 posts are being filled in the Police Department alone, including 1,000 posts for drivers. The recruitment process for more than 10,000 school teacher posts has been completed, and over 7,000 lecturers have been recruited for higher education.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also highlighted that the state government is working with a long-term vision for development and public welfare, and a new beginning is being made from Chhindwara. In an effort to improve the implementation of government schemes and programmes at the field level, it has been decided that no meeting will be held in any office on Fridays.
Under the Jan Vishwas Abhiyan, difficulties arising at the field level in improving the lives of common citizens and providing them facilities will be resolved. This campaign will be conducted every Friday until January 7, 2027.
