Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced promotions for pending government officers and employees, fresh recruitment for over 17,000 posts in various departments, and a new initiative called 'Jan Vishwas Abhiyan' to address field-level issues.
The Madhya Pradesh government is committed to ensuring welfare for every section of society under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav made this announcement while addressing a gathering at the FDDI Auditorium in Chhindwara on Friday.
Promotions for government officers and employees whose promotions had been pending for years will be completed by September-October this year. This move aims to ensure that all employees receive their rightful entitlements.
In addition, the state government has initiated fresh recruitment on government posts in all departments. More than 18,000 posts are being filled in the Police Department alone, including 1,000 posts for drivers. The recruitment process for over 10,000 school teacher posts has been completed, and over 7,000 lecturers have been recruited for higher education.
Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board has issued a notification for fresh recruitment to 17,000 posts in various departments. In the past two and a half years, recruitment has been completed for one lakh posts, and the process for an additional two lakh new recruitments is now underway.
To bring about a change in the current situation where there are too many meetings in government offices, it has been decided that no meeting will be held in any office on Fridays. All officials will remain among the people and review the implementation of government schemes and programs at the field level. This initiative is part of 'Jan Vishwas Abhiyan', which aims to resolve difficulties arising at the field level in improving the lives of common citizens and providing them facilities.
The Jan Vishwas Abhiyan will be conducted every Friday until January 7, 2027, with the goal of ensuring that every person in the state receives the benefits of government schemes and establishing good governance.
