
Madhya Pradesh hosts a significant conference for culture ministers from BRICS nations and global delegates, adopting the 'Bhopal Declaration' to strengthen cultural ties and promote creativity among member countries.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav expressed pride in hosting the conference, stating that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, India showcased its rich cultural heritage on a global stage. The 'Bhopal Declaration', unanimously adopted after extensive discussions among BRICS Culture Ministers, is expected to be a milestone in promoting cultural ties, heritage conservation, and the creative economy.
Dr. Yadav also highlighted Madhya Pradesh's spiritual consciousness, historic architectural heritage, and tribal traditions, which foreign guests reportedly found extraordinary during their experience of the state's art and culture, cuisine, and hospitality.
The event is believed to have boosted tourism, handicrafts, and folk arts on the international stage, as acknowledged by Dr. Yadav.
Union Minister for Culture and Tourism Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat praised the well-structured series of meetings under India's BRICS Chairship, resulting in the 'Bhopal Declaration'. The overarching theme was 'Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation, and Sustainability'.
