
On August 13, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will attend a grand Boat Tiranga Yatra in Bhopal, where for the first time in the country, a floating Tiranga will be created in the middle of Upper Lake.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav is set to attend the Boat Tiranga Yatra in Bhopal on August 13, as part of a nationwide series of Tiranga Yatras commemorating Independence Day.
The event, initiated by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, will feature a unique and grand display of patriotism. For the first time in the country, a floating Tiranga will be created in the middle of Bhopal's Upper Lake. A special formation of a large number of boats and the Tricolour will be created to display the shape of a giant Tricolour on the water surface.
Cooperation, Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Shri Vishwas Sarang reported that hundreds of boats carrying the Tricolour will participate in the grand event, with thousands of patriotic citizens expected to join. The waters of Upper Lake will be illuminated with the colours of the Tricolour.
Minister Shri Sarang said that Tiranga Yatras are being organised across the country on Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s call. He emphasized the importance of ensuring adequate security, traffic management, boat operations, deployment of divers and SDRF personnel, parking, cleanliness, and other necessary arrangements to ensure citizen safety.
Minister Shri Vishwas Sarang inspected the event venue along with district administration officials, sports department staff, police, and SDRF. He appealed to the people of Madhya Pradesh to participate in large numbers in this historic and grand event and strengthen the spirit of respect for the Tricolour and patriotism.
