Indore Zoological Museum receives a new virtual zoo, 14-D cinema theatre, and 'virtual jungle safari'. The Chief Minister, Dr. Mohan Yadav, expresses optimism about the attractions' potential to generate revenue for the Municipal Corporation.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated the country’s first virtual zoo in Indore, Madhya Pradesh on Sunday. The event also marked the opening of a 14-D cinema theatre and 'virtual jungle safari' at the Indore Zoological Museum. These facilities were established under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model at an estimated cost of ₹4.5 crore.
Dr. Yadav lauded Indore’s commitment to innovation and development, stating that the city is consistently setting new benchmarks. He expressed optimism that the virtual jungle safari would become a major attraction for the general public, offering visitors a unique virtual experience of forests and wildlife. The Chief Minister also highlighted that the facility is expected to generate revenue for the Municipal Corporation.
During his visit, Dr. Yadav watched films in the 14-D cinema theatre along with all the ministers and schoolchildren present. Afterward, he expressed having an extraordinary experience. He also experienced the virtual jungle safari, evaluating its arrangements and technological features. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated a fountain by pressing a remote control and observed colorful fish in the aquarium.
Urban Administration and Housing Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya, Water Resources Minister Shri Tulsiram Silawat, MP Shri Shankar Lalwani, Mayor Shri Pushyamitra Bhargava, MLAs Shri Mahendra Hardia, Shri Madhu Verma, Shri Sawan Sonkar, Shri Sumit Mishra and Shri Gaurav Randive, MIC member Shri Nandkishore Pahadia, along with other public representatives and officials, were present on the occasion.
