The External Affairs Minister of India, Dr. S. Jaishankar, is scheduled to visit Russia from August 23-24, 2026, to co-chair the 27th Session of the India-Russia Inter-Governmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technological and Cultural Cooperation (IRIGC-TEC). During this visit, he will also meet Foreign Minister of Russia H.E. Mr. Sergey Lavrov.
At the invitation of First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation H.E. Mr. Denis Manturov, Dr. S. Jaishankar, the External Affairs Minister of India, will undertake an official visit to Russia from August 23-24, 2026. This visit is significant as it marks the co-chairing of the 27th Session of the India-Russia Inter-Governmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technological and Cultural Cooperation (IRIGC-TEC). During this visit, EAM will also meet Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation H.E. Mr. Sergey Lavrov to exchange perspectives on regional and global issues.
