Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal to Preside over the Prize Distribution of the 58th Youth Parliament Competition

Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal will preside over the prize distribution function for the 58th Youth Parliament Competition, held annually for schools under the Directorate of Education, Government of NCT of Delhi and the Department of Education, NDMC. The event will take place on August 25, 2026.

The Prize Distribution Function of the 58th Youth Parliament Competition, held annually for schools under the Directorate of Education, Government of NCT of Delhi, and the Department of Education, NDMC, is set to occur on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at the GMC Balayogi Auditorium, Parliament Library Building, Parliament House Complex, New Delhi. The Minister of State (Independent Charge) for the Ministry of Law and Justice; and Minister of State in the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal, will preside over the function and distribute prizes to the prize-winning students and schools.

The students of 'Bal Bharti Public School, Parwana Road, Pitampura, Delhi' which stood first in the 58th Youth Parliament Competition, will stage a repeat performance of their 'Youth Parliament Sitting' during the Prize Distribution Function. The Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs has been organizing Youth Parliament Competitions for schools in the National Capital Territory of Delhi for the past 60 years.

Besides the winning school, eleven other schools will also be recognized for their meritorious performance in the competition: Dr. B. R. Ambedkar CM Shri School, Dwarka Sector-22, Delhi; Navyug School, Peshwa road, New Delhi; Presentation Convent Sr. Sec. School, S.P. Mukharji Marg, Delhi; Baba Neem Karoli Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya (BNKSKV) Jonapur, New Delhi; Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya, Prahladpur , Delhi; Govt. Sarvodaya Bal Vidyalaya No.1 (Urdu Medium), Jama Masjid, New Delhi; Atal Adarsh Vidyalaya, Gole Market, New Delhi; Dr. B.R. Ambedkar CM Shri School, Sector 17, Rohini, Delhi; Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya No.1, Yamuna Vihar, C-Block, Delhi; Ishani Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya, G-BLOCK SAKET, New Delhi; and Kerala Sr. Sec. School, Vikaspuri, New Delhi.
