The Telangana government has set up helplines, coordination centers, and control rooms at Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi and the Secretariat in Hyderabad to offer necessary support to citizens stranded in Nepal.
Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has instructed officials to closely monitor the situation in Nepal and ensure all necessary support is provided to Telangana people stuck there.
To facilitate this, a special helpline and coordination center have been established at Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi. Officials are working in close collaboration with the Ministry of External Affairs and the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu to coordinate relief efforts.
Simultaneously, the state’s General Administration Department has set up a separate control room at the Telangana Secretariat in Hyderabad to aid affected families. This move aims to assist citizens who are facing difficulties reaching their loved ones in Nepal.
Families are urged to contact the helplines with the person’s name, passport details, mobile number, last known location in Nepal, tour operator details, and family contact information.
