Smt. Annpurna Devi, Union Minister of Women and Child Development, has lauded the launch of the first Mahila Commando Conversion Course (MCCC) at the NSG Training Academy in Manesar, marking another significant milestone. In a post on 'X', the Union Minister stated that under the visionary leadership of the Hon'ble Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, women are being empowered through capability, leadership, and opportunity. The MCCC is aimed at providing specialized training to women personnel from State Police Forces and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) in weapons, tactical intervention, hostage rescue, and counter-terrorism operations. According to the Minister, this initiative signifies India's efforts in breaking barriers and leading the way.
In her post, Smt. Annpurna Devi expressed that under the Hon'ble Prime Minister's leadership, Nari Shakti (Women Power) is being empowered in the truest sense through capability, leadership, and opportunity.
