Sixteen districts, comprising Patna, Bhojpur, Bhagalpur, and West Champaran, among others, have been affected by floodwaters. The spread of floodwaters into riverine and low-lying areas has resulted in significant disruption to normal life.

Additionally, dry ration is being distributed among affected families, and Health Department teams are stationed in the flood-affected areas. To address the situation further, Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary and Deputy Chief Minister and Water Resources Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary conducted an aerial survey of the flood-affected areas today.
