The Government of Madhya Pradesh is organizing the Passenger Transport Vision Summit 2026 to bring together government, industry, policymakers, transport authorities, bus manufacturers, technology companies, investors, and infrastructure sector representatives to discuss improvements for passenger facilities in the state.
The summit will be held on September 11 and 12, 2026, at the Brilliant Convention Centre in Indore. The event's primary focus is on the Chief Minister Sugam Parivahan Seva Yojana.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will serve as the Chief Guest, while Transport and School Education Minister Shri Rao Uday Pratap Singh will attend as the Guest of Honour. Private bus operators, policymakers, transport authorities, bus manufacturers, technology companies, investors, and representatives from the infrastructure sector are expected to participate in deliberations at the summit.
The Passenger Transport Vision Summit 2026 aims to foster dialogue and partnerships to create a more connected, financially sustainable, digitally enabled, and citizen-centric passenger transport ecosystem in the state. The initiative is an important step by the Madhya Pradesh Government towards advancing a sustainable and modern public transport model in line with the vision of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and national initiatives such as the PM-eBus Sewa.
The Chief Minister Sugam Parivahan Seva Yojana is a major initiative aimed at encouraging large-scale private-sector participation to strengthen the state’s passenger transport system. The yojana will focus on developing a comprehensive and modern mobility ecosystem in Madhya Pradesh, creating wide-ranging opportunities in areas such as bus manufacturing, electric and hydrogen mobility, intelligent transport systems, digital ticketing, fleet management, charging infrastructure, AI and analytics, smart bus stops, passenger information systems, Mobility-as-a-Service, and transport finance.
