He approved the Ken-Betwa Inter-State River Linking Project to boost agricultural production in Bundelkhand, acknowledged artisans in Tikamgarh district, and interacted with farmers practicing advanced agricultural methods.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has emphasized the significance of farmer prosperity in achieving national prosperity. He announced that the Madhya Pradesh Government is prioritizing this sector by providing necessary facilities to farmers.

In line with this resolve, the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has approved the Ken-Betwa Inter-State River Linking Project aimed at enhancing agricultural production in the Bundelkhand region through adequate irrigation. The project will bring about a notable transformation in the landscape of the region in the coming years.

At a virtual address during the Balram Krishi Mahotsav organised in Tikamgarh, Dr. Yadav praised the artisans who make brass idols in the region and commended the agricultural initiatives being undertaken in the district as an example for others.

During his interaction with farmers attending the Balram Krishi Mahotsav, the CM appreciated their hard work and innovations. He congratulated Shri Vishnu Sharma of Anantpura for his vegetable cultivation, construction of a polyhouse, and operation of a gaushala.

Shri Balchand Ahirwar informed the Chief Minister about his practice of natural farming, with around 250 fellow farmers associated with the initiative. Shri Manohar Lodhi and Smt. Shashi Lodhi shared their experiences of natural farming. Other noteworthy mentions include:

– Shri Jagdish Ahirwar's flower cultivation on around 15 acres, strawberry, watermelon, lemon, guava, and other crop production, employment generation, and cow rearing for milk production.

– Shri Ramesh Yadav's seed production since 2005 and the capacity to produce around 3 lakh quintals of seeds.

– Smt. Sunita Bundela's beekeeping with five operational centres, explaining the economic benefits, and detailing the process.
