Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurates expanded Infosys facility in Indore's Super Corridor, focusing on energy-efficient design, advanced technological capabilities, and talent development through collaborations with local academic institutions.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav is set to inaugurate Software Development Block-2 (SDB-2) at the Infosys campus in Indore's Super Corridor on September 16. The new block, spanning 3.30 lakh square feet, aims to bolster Madhya Pradesh's technological prowess and foster a robust talent ecosystem geared towards employment opportunities.
Infosys intends to leverage the state's growing talent pool while deepening its engagement with local academic and technological ecosystems. This will involve expanding collaborations with IIT Indore, IIM Indore, and Devi Ahilya University through skilling programmes and institutional partnerships.
Infosys SDB-2 in Indore has been designed as an environment-friendly and energy-efficient facility, adhering to green building standards. The facility will feature low-energy cooling systems, smart building automation, rainwater harvesting, and wastewater recycling, along with dedicated training and wellness facilities.
More than 3,300 employees are currently working at the Infosys Indore campus, offering services to global clients across various sectors including banking, finance, healthcare, retail, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, and manufacturing. The expanded centre will enhance the company’s capabilities in cloud services, application development, artificial intelligence and machine learning, and cybersecurity.
