Dr L Murugan, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, distributes appointment letters to 285 newly recruited candidates selected for various Central Government Ministries, Departments, and organisations. The Minister emphasizes the importance of public service in achieving India's vision of a Viksit Bharat by 2047.

In Chennai, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, Dr L Murugan distributed appointment letters to 285 newly recruited candidates selected for various Central Government Ministries, Departments, and organizations. During his speech at the event, the Minister underlined that these new entrants into government service would play a crucial role in realizing India's vision of a Viksit Bharat by 2047. He encouraged the recruits to view their roles not only as gaining employment but as an opportunity to serve the nation and contribute to its overall development. Dr Murugan reiterated that honesty, accountability, empathy, and a compassionate approach towards the public should remain fundamental principles in public service. The Minister also highlighted that the unemployment rate has decreased from 6 percent to 3.2 percent due to various government initiatives. Additionally, he reported that the number of startups in the country has grown exponentially since 2014, with a substantial proportion of startup founders being young individuals below the age of 30. Dr Murugan further shared that over 12.75 lakh appointment letters have been issued through Rozgar Melas, demonstrating the government's commitment to providing employment opportunities for the youth.
