Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated a new industrial unit of J.K. Lifecare Centre Pvt. Ltd. in Vikram Udyogpuri, Ujjain on Saturday. The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of serving others and helping the needy as the true purpose of life.
The investment made in the new unit is approximately ₹47 crore. This facility will manufacture Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs), pharmaceutical intermediates, and fine chemicals. The unit is expected to provide direct employment to more than 300 people, while generating indirect employment opportunities for thousands through supply chains, transportation, packaging, and technical services.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated that new industrial units are being inaugurated or their foundation stones laid in Madhya Pradesh almost every 15 days, reflecting the state’s industry-friendly policies and the growing confidence of domestic and foreign investors. He invited investors to invest in the state without hesitation, assuring them of necessary facilities, support, and security.
The Chief Minister noted that Malwa is emerging as one of the country’s major pharmaceutical hubs, with more than 300 pharmaceutical units operational in Madhya Pradesh. He expressed confidence that the new J.K. Lifecare Centre unit would give fresh impetus to pharmaceutical manufacturing, research, innovation, and employment in Ujjain.
He highlighted Ujjain’s rich legacy of 'Natural Intelligence' (NI) and its unique place across different eras, citing personalities like Lord Shri Krishna, Samrat Vikramaditya, Raja Bhoj, and the recent appointment of Lieutenant General Shri Gurmeet Singh as Governor of Uttarakhand. Dr. Katyayan Mishra and Dr. Jaya Mishra, owners of J.K. Lifecare Centre Pvt. Ltd., were recognized for their contributions to Ujjain’s development across various fields.
