Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced the construction of a 32-kilometre road connecting Hatpipliya with Dewas, Indore and Betul, and another 12-kilometre road in Sukhliya-Tigariya. The projects are expected to benefit over 90,000 rural residents.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav emphasized the importance of roads as a foundation for development and prosperity. On the occasion of Ganesh Utsav and Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, he announced significant infrastructure developments in the Hatpipliya area. The 32-kilometre Rajoda-Keloud-Double Chowki Road, estimated to cost approximately Rs 98 crore, will connect Hatpipliya with Dewas, Indore and Betul. This road will start from Rajoda, pass through Keloud, and connect with the Indore-Betul National Highway at Double Chowki village. By easing travel to and from Indore and Betul for residents of the area, the new road is expected to benefit around 70,000 rural residents of about 25 villages. The distance for traveling to and from Dewas district headquarters will be reduced by about 40 to 45 kilometres.
At a separate Bhoomi Pujan programme, Dr. Yadav also announced the construction of the Sukhliya-Tigariya Road, approximately 12-kilometres long and costing Rs 1,140 lakh. This project is expected to benefit more than 20,000 rural residents of 20 villages.
