Manipur police, along with CRPF's Quick Action Team and CoBRA, conducted a joint operation at Sinai Camp. They arrested 17 individuals, seized firearms and other combat gear.
In Manipur, the State Police, in collaboration with the Quick Action Team of CRPF and CoBRA, executed a joint operation at Kuki Militant Camp- Sinai Camp. Seventeen individuals were apprehended during this operation. The accused have been remanded to eight days of police custody.
The joint security team also seized 24 firearms, 38 magazines, a substantial amount of ammunition, explosives, wireless communication equipment, and other combat gears during the operation. This action was initiated following the killing of three civilians by armed miscreants near Sinai Camp recently. Three individuals from the camp, implicated in the ambush on innocent civilians, have already been arrested.
