The 'Mobile Court' initiative of the Revenue Department in Guna district, Madhya Pradesh, has garnered a prestigious SKOCH Award under the 'Foundation of Inclusive Growth' category at the 109th SKOCH Summit 2026 held in New Delhi. Collector Shri Kishor Kumar Kanyal was presented with the award, which was received on his behalf by SDM Shri Amit Soni and Tehsildar Shri Devdutt Goliya in New Delhi. The initiative is a testament to the district administration's focus on innovation and citizen-centric service delivery.
Implemented under the guidance of Collector Shri Kanyal, the Mobile Court initiative aims to bring the administration to citizens’ doorsteps to resolve land-related cases and disputes promptly on the spot. Over 424 cases have been resolved through this initiative, including several long-pending disputes settled through mutual consent among the parties.
On-the-spot hearings by Revenue and Police Department officials have reduced the need for citizens to repeatedly visit government offices to seek resolution of their grievances. Time-bound disposal has also helped reduce land-related disputes and contributed to maintaining law and order.
