
The Sports Authority of India (SAI) will hold selection trials for women wrestlers who have qualified up to the 5th position in National Championships or won State Championship Gold medals in the past two years, on July 30, 2026, at the SAI Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee National Centre of Excellence in Mumbai.
The Sports Authority of India (SAI), under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India, will conduct Selection Trials for Women’s Wrestling on July 30, 2026, at the SAI Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee National Centre of Excellence, Akurli Road, Kandivali (East), Mumbai. The trials are open to Women Wrestlers who have qualified up to the 5th position in the National Championships / National Ranking Tournaments, or those who are Gold Medalists of recognized State Championships in the last two years.
The trials will commence with reporting at 8:00 AM on July 30, 2026. Eligible athletes are encouraged to report at the venue with the necessary documents and certificates in support of their eligibility.
SAI has been entrusted with the twin objectives of promoting sports and achieving sporting excellence at the national and international level. SAI has played a significant role in shaping India’s sports development by providing training to elite athletes and at the same time operating a number of schemes for the identification and development of young talent.
