The meeting's focus was on institutional reforms, high-performance sports, athlete development, and governance aimed at positioning Maharashtra as a leading sporting state. Proposed reforms seek to strengthen Maharashtra’s standing as one of India's top sporting states through institutional reforms, professional governance, and sustained investments in athlete development.
Furthermore, the meeting addressed a broad reform agenda geared toward creating an athlete-centric, professionally managed, and future-ready sports ecosystem in Maharashtra.
