In his Vijayadashami address, the Prime Minister highlighted the unparalleled ideals of Lord Ram, particularly his commitment to truth and righteousness, as a benchmark for good governance in India. He also emphasized the importance of self-respect, heritage, and service to the nation.

On this sacred occasion of Vijayadashami, the Prime Minister extended his greetings to all countrymen. He lauded the widespread devotion towards Lord Ram in India, celebrating the spirit of Ramleela across the nation. The Prime Minister emphasized that this is not just a festival but the life force of India.

The Prime Minister underscored the unparalleled ideals set by Lord Ram throughout his life, particularly his unwavering commitment to truth and righteousness despite facing numerous challenges. He highlighted instances where Lord Ram demonstrated compassion, kindness, love, and harmony towards people in need.

Furthermore, the Prime Minister drew parallels between Lord Ram's leadership and the goal of a Developed India and Self-Reliant India. He encouraged the nation to find solutions through hard work and collective strength, just as Lord Ram did when facing seemingly impossible goals.

The Prime Minister also emphasized the importance of self-respect and heritage in fostering national identity. He celebrated recent efforts to return looted ancient idols to India and India's growing recognition on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Last year, Diwali was included in the list of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

The Prime Minister reminded citizens that a nation progresses only when it possesses self-respect and heritage plays a very important role in this self-respect. Therefore, he urged continued dedication towards preserving India's heritage.

Finally, the Prime Minister called upon citizens to renew their resolve against enemies of the nation and to work together for the betterment of India.
