In a well-coordinated operation, Jammu Police and the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) rescued two individuals stranded in the River Tawi following a sudden rise in water level.
In Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu Police and the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) successfully executed a swift rescue operation today. Two persons who were stranded in the River Tawi near Prambli, Phallian Mandal, were rescued after the water level suddenly increased while they were grazing their cattle.
The police immediately alerted the SDRF through PCR Jammu upon receiving information about the incident. The SDPO City South, along with the In-charge of Police Post Phallian Mandal, led a coordinated rescue operation together with the SDRF team.
After sustained efforts, both individuals were rescued safely without any injuries and handed over to their family members.
