On Friday, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced that discussions between Union Health and Family Welfare Minister JP Nadda, Union Minister of State Dr. Jitendra Singh, and education activist Sonam Wangchuk at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram resulted in the ending of Wangchuk's hunger strike. According to the Chief Minister, these meetings focused on the government's initiatives, approach, and future plans concerning students. The Chief Minister further revealed that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Union Government is taking continuous steps to ensure strict action against paper leaks, strengthen transparency, and credibility in the examination system, with the ultimate goal of protecting every student's interests.
In a post on social media platform X, the Chief Minister also stated that the government's efforts are aimed at safeguarding the future of the country's youth.
