Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has extended his best wishes to all Indian athletes representing the country at the 23rd Commonwealth Games. In his message, the Chief Minister expressed confidence that athletes would uphold India's pride on the global stage through their outstanding performances, talent, discipline and tireless dedication.
Dr. Yadav stated that India's champions are fully prepared to enhance the nation's prestige and ensure the Tricolour flies high at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games. He emphasized that India is represented by a contingent of 126 athletes competing in 13 sports disciplines and 113 events.
The 23rd Commonwealth Games are being held in Glasgow, Scotland, from July 23 to August 2, 2026. Indian athletes are participating in athletics, boxing, judo, weightlifting and several para-sports events.
