India and Pakistan have secured direct entry into the quarterfinals of the men’s and women’s cricket competitions at the Asian Games in Aichi, Japan. The T20 cricket competitions will take place at Korogi Athletic Park in Japan’s Aichi Prefecture.
The women's event is scheduled from September 17 to 22, and the men’s tournament is set for September 24 to October 1. The men’s event features ten teams, with Afghanistan, Japan, and Nepal placed in Group A, while Hong Kong China, Malaysia, and Oman are grouped in Group B.
