The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) Regional Office, Goa, has appealed to all pensioners covered under the Employees' Pension Scheme, 1995 (EPS'95) in Goa to submit their Digital Life Certificate (Jeevan Pramaan) during the nationwide DLC Campaign 5.0.
The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), Regional Office, Goa, has launched an appeal to all pensioners covered under the Employees' Pension Scheme, 1995 (EPS'95) in Goa to submit their Digital Life Certificate (Jeevan Pramaan) during the nationwide DLC Campaign 5.0, which runs from 1 to 30 November 2026.
The campaign is being conducted in accordance with the guidelines of the Department of Pension & Pensioners' Welfare (DoPPW). Pensioners can submit their Digital Life Certificate through any of the following three methods:
1. Face Authentication through the UMANG app:
Pensioners can submit the certificate from their own smartphone using Aadhaar-linked face authentication.
2. Free doorstep service by India Post Payments Bank (IPPB):
Pensioners can call 033-22029000 to avail themselves of the free doorstep service, under which a postman or Gramin Dak Sevak will visit their homes to submit the Digital Life Certificate using IPPB's doorstep banking device. This facility is particularly useful for elderly, ailing and differently-abled pensioners and those living away from bank branches or EPFO offices, with EPFO bearing the entire cost of issuing the Digital Life Certificate.
3. Submission at the nearest EPFO office or Common Service Centre (CSC).
Rajneesh Dixit, Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner, EPFO Regional Office, Goa, requested every EPS pensioner in Goa to submit the Digital Life Certificate in a timely manner to ensure continuity of pension. He stated that with free doorstep and app-based options, no pensioner needs to travel to submit it. He also advised pensioners that their next Digital Life Certificate must be submitted on or after the date falling exactly one year after their last submission and within the applicable annual life-certificate period to avoid interruption of pension.
