A delegation of the Bhartiya Postal Employees Federation meets with Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh

Dr. Jitendra Singh met with the Bhartiya Postal Employees Federation to discuss ongoing issues concerning postal employees and the government's focus on transparency, accountability, and employee welfare.

On July 25, 2026, Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh held a meeting with a delegation from the Bhartiya Postal Employees Federation (BPEF), affiliated with the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS). The meeting took place at the minister's official residence in New Delhi.

The 12-member delegation, consisting of representatives from various states such as Bihar, Maharashtra, and Madhya Pradesh, discussed a wide range of issues concerning postal employees. These included service matters, employee welfare, recognition-related issues, pending administrative and legal matters, and the need for coordinated consideration across departments to address these concerns.

Dr. Jitendra Singh reiterated the government's commitment to engaging with employee organizations through regular dialogue and constructive consultations. He emphasized that every genuine representation would be examined on merit, in accordance with the applicable rules and procedures. However, matters involving multiple Ministries and Departments may require wider institutional consultation to ensure legally sound, transparent, and sustainable outcomes.

The delegation appreciated the Government's sustained emphasis on administrative reforms and improvements in grievance redressal mechanisms, transparency, and administrative responsiveness. They noted that these changes have significantly strengthened the confidence of employees in the system.
