
Union Minister Pralhad Joshi starts his tenure at the Education Ministry following Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation and immediately conducts review meetings.
Following his appointment as the new Education Minister, Union Minister Pralhad Joshi commenced his duties on the same day after Dharmendra Pradhan resigned. Alongside his new role, Mr Joshi retains his portfolios in Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, and New and Renewable Energy.
Immediately after assuming charge, he convened a review meeting of the Education Ministry to examine the progress of various schemes and key initiatives. In attendance were Minister of State for Education Jayant Chaudhary and several senior ministry officials.
Later, during an interaction with the media, Union Minister Pralhad Joshi expressed his gratitude towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi for entrusting him with this responsibility. He further mentioned that he is currently undertaking review meetings to familiarize himself comprehensively with the Ministry’s operations, policies, and ongoing initiatives. Mr Joshi stated that the Education Ministry is a significant and crucial department, and his immediate priority is to grasp its operations thoroughly before advancing its programs and implementing new initiatives.
