
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announces multiple development projects in Niwari district, including infrastructure, healthcare, and education initiatives.
In a significant move towards the development of Madhya Pradesh's Niwari district, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated 44 development projects worth over ₹109 crore and performed the Bhoomi Poojan for 15 development works worth over ₹54 crore. The initiatives span various sectors, including infrastructure, healthcare, and education.
The Chief Minister inaugurated the newly constructed Integrated Collectorate Building at a cost of ₹25.63 crore, as well as the upgradation and strengthening of the 100-bed District Hospital, Niwari, completed at a cost of nearly ₹20 crore. Road and other infrastructure projects worth over ₹12 crore in Viraura, Sakera, Atarra, Jamuniya, Jikhangaon, Guvawali, Churara, and other areas were also inaugurated.
In the healthcare sector, new Primary Health Centres at Jewra, Sakera Bhandaran, and Sendri in Prithvipur, along with an AYUSH Wing and a Sanjeevani Clinic in Niwari, were inaugurated. The Chief Minister also inaugurated the stop dam at Majra Khairai–Digwarkalan, 14 Anganwadi centres, and a newly constructed building in Niwari.
Education initiatives announced by the Chief Minister include plans to establish a Law College and an MBA College in Niwari. Geeta Bhawans will be constructed in every Nagar Panchayat across the State.
Other major announcements made by the Chief Minister include the construction of a modern, fully equipped new bus stand in Niwari, the launch of the Chief Minister Sugam Sahayata Bus Service across the State, and the establishment of a gaushala at Taricharkalan. A bridge will also be constructed over the Kanare River between Janauli and Chandawani.
The development projects are part of the state government's efforts to prioritize the development of Bundelkhand, with the Ken–Betwa Link Project benefiting 168 villages in Niwari. Industrial activities are being promoted in Prithvipur, while the process of developing an industrial area in Sagar district is underway.
