
Dr. Mohan Yadav, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, inaugurated the Government Sandipani Thakur Lal Singh Higher Secondary School in Berasia. The school, equipped with modern facilities over nearly 35 acres, is aimed at providing quality education and fostering students' talents.
In a significant event, Dr. Mohan Yadav, the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, inaugurated the Government Sandipani Thakur Lal Singh Higher Secondary School in Berasia on Sunday. The school, built at a cost of ₹50.74 crore over nearly 35 acres, is equipped with modern facilities.
During his address at the inauguration ceremony, Dr. Yadav emphasized that the institution will provide quality education supported by modern infrastructure and equip students with knowledge, values, confidence, and skills. He stressed that schools and teachers shape students' personalities and make their lives meaningful, comparing the role of teachers to the mythical Paras (Philosopher's Stone) that transforms iron into gold.
Dr. Yadav highlighted the importance of education in making students self-reliant and active partners in nation-building. He urged students not to view education solely as a means of securing employment but as an opportunity to become doctors, engineers, lawyers, journalists, civil servants, modern farmers, successful entrepreneurs, skilled traders, and responsible citizens.
The Chief Minister also emphasized that Sandipani Schools derive their name from Maharishi Sandipani, the revered guru of Lord Shri Krishna. He encouraged students to cherish the friendships they build in school, support one another in difficult times, and uphold the values of compassion, generosity, and mutual respect.
Dr. Yadav stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the government is making sustained efforts to transform young people from job seekers into job creators. He added that education is not just about academic learning but also building character, discipline, values, and a positive outlook towards life.
The Chief Minister also announced the four-laning of the Bhopal–Berasia road to accelerate the overall development of the Berasia region.
