Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav departed for New Delhi today by air, bound for the third Apex Monitoring Authority meeting of the National Industrial Corridor Development and Implementation Trust. The gathering, presided over by Union Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman, is scheduled to take place at Hotel Ashoka in New Delhi on Monday. Participants include Union Commerce and Industry Minister Shri Piyush Goyal, Union Railways Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw, Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Shri Nitin Gadkari, Union Ports, Shipping and Waterways Minister Shri Sarbananda Sonowal, NITI Aayog officials, and Chief Ministers of several states. The meeting will discuss activities being undertaken with the objective of establishing Madhya Pradesh as a major industrial hub in the country.
The agenda revolves around discussions on the Delhi-Nagpur Industrial Corridor, Bharat Industrial Development Scheme (BHAVYA), the state’s expressway-based industrial development plan, and a strategy to enhance logistics infrastructure.
