In a media message from Bhopal ahead of the Ladli Behna Sammelan in Maihar, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav highlighted the significance of financial assistance provided under the Ladli Behna Scheme for numerous families. The regular support has contributed to positivity and increased ease within many households. Notably, several women have taken advantage of the scheme's benefits to establish sources of income such as tailoring and dairy farming, thereby contributing to their family's income.
The Chief Minister pointed out that leaving one’s parental home and entering a new family can be a challenging aspect for women. In these circumstances, he emphasized the importance of support for their dignity and self-confidence during such transitions. He stated that the State Government's implementation of the Ladli Behna Scheme is aimed at bringing happiness, prosperity, and realizing dreams for women, ensuring that their minor needs do not hinder their self-reliance.
