Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav highlights the rapid transformation of Madhya Pradesh, its emergence as one of India's fastest-growing states, and various investment opportunities at Economic Times World Leaders Forum 2026.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has underscored that Madhya Pradesh, once labeled a 'BIMARU' state, is undergoing rapid transformation and emerging as one of India’s fastest-growing states.
During his address at the Economic Times World Leaders Forum 2026 in New Delhi, Dr. Yadav emphasized that challenges were identified and transformed into opportunities for growth across various sectors in Madhya Pradesh.
The Chief Minister attributed this success to the Global Investors Summit held in Bhopal last year and Regional Industry Conclaves organized across different regions of the state, which helped attract investors and boost investor confidence in Madhya Pradesh. He also mentioned that these events played a significant role in addressing challenges and problems.
Madhya Pradesh is moving towards becoming a green manufacturing hub by promoting clean-energy-based industrial development with its vast potential in solar and wind energy. The Chief Minister highlighted the importance of reliable and clean energy for environmentally sustainable and competitive manufacturing in the future.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav emphasized that Madhya Pradesh offers extensive investment opportunities in various sectors, including textiles and garments, pharmaceuticals, automobiles, engineering, electronics, semiconductors, data centers, food processing, and renewable energy.
Madhya Pradesh is focusing on faster approvals, ease of doing business, streamlined procedures, single-window clearances, digital processes, institutional reforms, and time-bound approvals for investors. The government wants to create a favourable ecosystem for MSMEs, startups, and large industries.
