The Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Good Governance and Policy Analysis (AIGGPA) is organizing a one-day state-level conclave on August 24, 2026. Over 130 institutions are expected to participate, including IIT Indore, IIM Indore, IISER Bhopal, MANIT Bhopal, AIIMS Bhopal, and more. The event aims to create an effective platform for institutional partnerships by connecting Madhya Pradesh’s development priorities with the research capabilities of participating institutions.
The Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Good Governance and Policy Analysis (AIGGPA) will organise a one-day state-level conclave on ‘Contribution of Centrally Funded Institutions for Samriddh Madhya Pradesh @2047’ on August 24, 2026. The event will take place at the Kushabhau Thakre International Convention Centre in Bhopal.
The theme of the conclave is ‘One Institute–One Promise’. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will inaugurate the conclave at 11 am on August 24, with Chief Secretary Shri Ashok Barnwal delivering the keynote address on ‘Samriddh Madhya Pradesh @2047’. Vice-Chairman of the Good Governance Institute, Prof. Rajiv Dixit, will deliver a special address, while Chief Scientific Adviser Prof. Santosh Kumar Vishwakarma will present the background and context of the conclave.
More than 130 institutions are expected to participate in the conclave, including IIT Indore, IIM Indore, IISER Bhopal, MANIT Bhopal, AIIMS Bhopal, IIITs, NFSU Bhopal, RRCAT Indore, DRDO, ISRO, national and central universities, as well as leading institutions working in agriculture, healthcare, technology, management, defence, energy, environment, skill development and other sectors.
The second session will focus on ‘Inclusive Economic Growth and Social Empowerment for Samriddh Madhya Pradesh @2047’, followed by an extensive discussion on the way forward and an action plan. Representatives of participating central institutions and senior government officials will take part in the deliberations.
The key attraction of the conclave will be the ‘One Institute–One Promise’ initiative. Under this initiative, participating institutions will make a meaningful and actionable commitment for Madhya Pradesh that can be pursued in line with the state’s development priorities. These commitments are expected to translate the potential for long-term institutional collaboration in policymaking, research and development into concrete outcomes.
Various departments of the Madhya Pradesh Government—including Agriculture, Horticulture, Environment, Higher Education, Science and Technology, Technical Education and Skill Development, Health and Medical Education, MSME, Urban Development, Energy, New and Renewable Energy, Industrial Development, Tribal Welfare, and Women and Child Development—will share their challenges and priorities during the conclave and outline their expectations from participating institutions. The objective is to establish better coordination between the state’s requirements and the expertise and capabilities available with participating institutions.
