Chief Minister Yadav Offers Support and Honorarium to Visually Impaired Bundeli Singer

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav meets visually impaired singer Sunil Lodhi from Sagar district, assures support from the state government, and announces an honorarium of ₹1 lakh.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav met Sunil Lodhi, a talented young visually impaired Bundeli singer from Sagar district, at Samatva Bhawan, his residence, on Thursday. Lodhi recently lent his voice to a Bundeli song in the film ‘Hanuman Ansh’, which has gained popularity. Yadav congratulated and applauded Lodhi for his achievement, assuring him of full support from the state government.

Yadav stated that the government is committed to providing maximum opportunities to talented artists to help them advance their careers. He pledged to extend every possible assistance to encourage artists.

In addition to felicitating Lodhi and his parents, Yadav announced that ₹1 lakh would be provided to Lodhi as an honorarium. Shri Sriram Tiwari and the parents of singer Shri Lodhi were present on the occasion.

Yadav also assured necessary assistance to help restore Sunil’s eyesight. He expressed interest in supporting Lodhi in completing a formal music course at a music school, stating that talented singers like him would be encouraged through programs such as Talent Search.

During the meeting, Sunil Lodhi sang for Chief Minister Dr. Yadav the popular song from the film Hanuman Ansh, ‘Maine Tere Hi Bharose Hanuman, Sagar Mein Naiya Daar Dai.’ At the Chief Minister's request, he also performed the devotional song ‘Janm Laye Raghurai, Braj Mein Baj Rahi Badhai,’ traditionally sung to celebrate the birth of Lord Shri Krishna.
