Thirty-three teachers from Madhya Pradesh, including two who received the National Teachers' Award in 2025, are being honoured for their outstanding contributions to education.
The School Education Department of the Madhya Pradesh Government is organising a State-Level Teachers’ Award Ceremony on Teachers’ Day at RCVP Noronha Academy, Bhopal. The ceremony will feature special guests such as School Education Minister Shri Uday Pratap Singh, Minister for Tribal Affairs, Public Assets Management, and Bhopal Gas Tragedy Relief and Rehabilitation Dr. Kunwar Vijay Shah, and Minister for Sports and Youth Welfare and Cooperation Shri Vishwas Kailash Sarang.
Thirty-three outstanding teachers selected from across the State will be honoured at the Teachers’ Day ceremony. Recipients of the State-Level Teachers’ Awards 2026 will be presented with a shawl, shrifal, citation and a cash award of ₹25,000.
Two teachers from Madhya Pradesh who received the National Teachers’ Award in 2025 will also be specially honoured at the ceremony. Notably, two outstanding teachers from Madhya Pradesh—Smt. Sheela Patle and Shri Bherulal Ausara—were selected for the National Teachers’ Award 2025 by the Department of School Education and Literacy, Government of India, and honoured by the President.
The 33 teachers to be honoured include Smt. Pooja Pandey, Shri Satish Kumar Pandey, Smt. Shweta Tiwari, Shri Shivlal Dangi, Shri Dhannalal Bisen, Shri Ritesh Kumar Pathade, Shri Sukhnandan Sahu, Shri Narendra Kumar Bhardwaj, Shri Om Prakash Vishwakarma, Shri Mahendra Singh Thakur, Shri Rakesh Kumar Gupta, Smt. Shikha Sharma, Shri Mahendra Singh Pawar, Smt. Jyoti Pathak, Shri Rakesh Kumar Verma, Shri Suresh Chandra Soni, Smt. Sharmila Upadhyay, Smt. Reena Devi Katre, Shri Hemant Kumar Vaidya, Shri Rakesh Kumar Dwivedi and Smt. Seema Parmar.
