Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has launched a new campaign for environmental conservation, aimed at creating and installing 10 lakh eco-friendly clay Ganesha idols across Madhya Pradesh.
In an effort to promote environmental conservation, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav launched the 'Mati Ganesh–Siddh Ganesh' campaign jointly organised by the Madhya Pradesh Jan Abhiyan Parishad and Narmada Samagra on a specified date. The campaign aims to facilitate the creation of 10 lakh Ganesha idols made from clay, an eco-friendly material, and ensure the participation of 25 lakh people.
Narmada Samagra, an organisation dedicated to environmental protection, will provide training to Navankur Sakhis associated with the Parishad’s network across all 313 development blocks of Madhya Pradesh. The trained Sakhis will motivate and train local women in their respective villages to make these clay idols and facilitate their installation.
The campaign was attended by Parishad Vice-President Shri Mohan Nagar, Secretary of the Planning, Economics and Statistics Department Shri Manish, and Parishad Executive Director Dr. Bakul Lad.
