The India Meteorological Department has forecast heavy rainfall across several states, with thunderstorms and lightning conditions persisting in specific regions.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a weather advisory, predicting heavy rainfall over Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal and parts of North East India till tomorrow. Additionally, thunderstorms and lightning conditions are expected to continue in Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, and Tamil Nadu during the same period. Similar weather conditions are also predicted for Puducherry, Karaikal, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Gangetic West Bengal and Andaman and Nicobar Islands over the next two days.
Meanwhile, hot and humid weather conditions are expected to prevail in Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Mahe until tomorrow. The Weather Agency also forecasts a spell of light rainfall at a few places in Delhi during the evening today.
