The Reserve Bank of India conducted a yield/price based auction of state government securities on September 15, 2026. In this auction, three states were successful in raising funds: Arunachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal.
Arunachal Pradesh raised ₹600 crore with a cut off price of ₹7.94 and a yield of 20%. Madhya Pradesh raised ₹980.8 crore across three securities, including ₹900 crore with a cut off price of ₹7.7181 and a yield of 12%, ₹968.2 crore with a cut off price of ₹7.9682 and a yield of 21%, and ₹98.08 crore with a cut off price of ₹7.7181 and a yield of 15%. West Bengal raised ₹2,200 crore with a cut off price of ₹7.9298 and a yield of 7.9298%.
Assam accepted partial amount of ₹445.055 crore in Re-issue of 7.66% Assam SGS 2036, issued on June 17, 2026 and not accepted any amount in the 15-year security. Uttarakhand did not accept any amount in Re-issue of 7.87% Uttarakhand SGS 2044, issued on May 27, 2026.
