The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has extended the operational period of a directive issued to U.P. Civil Secretariat Primary Co-operative Bank Ltd., Lucknow, by three months from September 11, 2026, to December 11, 2026.
In an official press release dated March 11, 2026, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) issued Directive LKO.DOS.SED.No.S796/10-12-294/2025-26 to U.P. Civil Secretariat Primary Co-operative Bank Ltd., Lucknow, for a period of six months up to close of business on September 11, 2026. The RBI has now decided to further extend the operational period of this directive for an additional three months, from close of business on September 11, 2026, to close of business on December 11, 2026.
The extension is subject to review and it is important to note that this extension does not imply that the RBI is satisfied with the financial position of the bank as stated in the press release issued by the Chief General Manager, Brij Raj.
All other terms and conditions of the Directive under reference shall remain unchanged.
