Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia releases a commemorative postage stamp in honor of Sant Malukdas Ji, connecting with his legacy of devotion, knowledge, compassion, and public welfare.

On September 15, 2026, Union Minister for Communications and Development of North Eastern Region Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia released a commemorative postage stamp issued by the Department of Posts, Government of India. The stamp was in honor of Sant Malukdas Ji on the occasion of the Sant Samagam organized in his memory. This initiative aims to keep alive the rich tradition of Sant Malukdas Ji's devotion, knowledge, compassion, and public welfare, which has guided generations.

Addressing saints, revered Swami Rajendra Das Devacharya Ji Maharaj, office bearers of Shri Maluk Peeth Seva Sansthan Nyas, and devotees from across the country, Scindia emphasized that the words and lives of saints have been guiding the soul of India. He noted that it was significant to release the commemorative stamp in memory of a saint whose heart remained immersed in devotion to Lord Ram, on the occasion of the inauguration of Shri Ram Katha.

Scindia highlighted Sant Malukdas Ji as a devoted follower of Lord Ram, but not limited only to worship and prayer. He saw Lord Ram as a symbol of duty, sacrifice, truth, compassion, justice, and public welfare. India, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is moving forward with economic development while maintaining deep cultural confidence.

Scindia stated that for India, development and culture are not opposing forces. He referenced the grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Kashi Vishwanath Dham, Mahakal Lok, and the preservation and revival of many spiritual and cultural heritage sites across the country as examples of this integration. He emphasized that India can be modern while connected to its roots.

Scindia concluded by stating that this commemorative postage stamp serves as a medium to make Sant Malukdas Ji's spiritual and cultural heritage a part of the national memory. It will also help connect future generations with his message of devotion, knowledge, compassion, and humanity.
