On September 23, 2026, President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu, inaugurated the Brahma Kumaris’ campaign ‘Spiritual Awakening for World Renewal’ and the 'Global Spiritual Palace' Retreat Centre at Vadodara, Gujarat. Simultaneously, she virtually launched the campaign ‘Youth for Viksit Bharat: Awakening Inner Strength for Nation Building’ of Brahma Kumaris Nadiad, Gujarat.
In her address to the gathering, the President emphasized the need for human development alongside economic development. She advocated for an education that fosters wisdom rather than just intellect. The President noted with happiness the spread of the Brahma Kumaris' message of personal transformation and global renewal across India and various countries.
The President highlighted the potential for change within every individual, asserting that if people believe in the power to transform their thoughts and actions, they can become instruments of positive change not only for themselves but for society as a whole. She expressed confidence that the Global Spiritual Palace will serve as a venue for diverse individuals to gather in peace and harmony.
She also virtually inaugurated the ‘Youth for Viksit Bharat: Awakening Inner Strength for Nation Building’ campaign at Nadiad, the birthplace of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The President emphasized that when the youth channel their thoughts, emotions, and actions in a positive direction, the impact extends to the family, the workplace, the community, and ultimately, the entire nation. She stated that 'Awakening Inner Strength' is not merely a message of personal development but a profound process of nation-building.
The President also mentioned that self-transformation is considered the foundation of societal transformation. Today, there is a need to align this great legacy with the requirements of modern life.
